Hello
William Josh Brown, Esq. combines over 15 years of legal experience with a deep understanding of the real estate industry. Being both a Licensed Real Estate Attorney and a Licensed Title Agent give William Josh the unique attributes necessary to get even the most complex transactions across the finish line.
A native of Kentucky, William Josh earned his Bachelor of Arts from Northern Kentucky University (NKU) with a double major in Theatre Arts and Political Science, graduating magna cum laude. He spent summers performing professionally with the Lexington Shakespeare Festival and Cincinnati Shakespeare Company before pursuing his Juris Doctorate at Salmon P. Chase College of Law, where he attended on a full academic scholarship and won a State Championship with the Trial Advocacy Team.
My Story
William Josh began his legal career focusing on corporate formation, contract drafting, and regulatory
compliance for healthcare and small business clients throughout Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana. He received
recognition from the Legal Aid Society of the Bluegrass for his pro bono work and also authored two
successful grant proposals funded by the Scripps Howard Foundation in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was also
appointed as an adjunct professor of his alma mater, NKU, where he taught Legal Research and Criminal
Justice, while coaching the university’s Mock Trial Team.
In 2021, William Josh relocated to Florida to serve as in-house counsel for a major Tampa-based investment
firm. There, he oversaw legal operations across diverse market sectors including real estate, medical
cannabis, and emerging Web3 technologies. As a co-founder of a legal-tech startup, he is actively involved in
the intersection of real estate and Web3. He currently hosts a proprietary website that sells real estate online
and accepts cryptocurrencies as payment while digitally recording all transactions on the blockchain. Patent
and trademark applications are currently pending.
In 2023, William Josh was invited to serve as a keynote speaker at an economic symposium in Lima, Peru.
During his visit, he engaged with educators, policymakers, and business leaders to explore opportunities for
legal, educational, and economic collaboration between the United States and Latin America. He remains
active in an international coalition of attorneys and consultants dedicated to cross-border professional
exchange.
Mr. Brown now resides in the Coquina Key neighborhood of St. Petersburg, FL and frequently travels
throughout the Tampa Bay region for both work and leisure. A passionate traveler, he has visited 39
countries and territories as well as 35 U.S. states. When not practicing law, he enjoys reading mystery
novels, playing chess, and sipping fine Kentucky bourbon—honoring his roots and his family.
